Comments | If you are ever marooned without food in the bush and have to live off the land, I suggest you consider Wonga Pigeon Pie. They look perpetually plump and possibly delicious. Bird and photographer both happy here. This pair were my first Wonga Pigeons, for which I have to thank sis and partner who rang me specially to report that two wongas had appeared in the bush backing the house. I was there in a twinkling and happy to be photographing a bird that wasn't (for a change) gasping and about to drop off its perch because of the heat. |
